Aseptic line commissioning completed in Sadat City.
The CFT aseptic processing line has completed commissioning and validation, clearing the facility to run its first full tomato campaign under aseptic control.
Commissioning of the aseptic processing line at Sadat City is complete. The line, supplied by CFT of Italy, has passed its water trials, sterilisation cycles and product runs, and is now cleared for commercial production ahead of the first tomato campaign.
What was commissioned
The installation covers the full path from raw intake to aseptic filling: washing and sorting, crushing, the break section, evaporation, sterilisation and the aseptic filler itself. Each stage was signed off in sequence rather than as a single handover, so that faults could be isolated to one section at a time.
- Intake, washing and optical sorting
- Cold Break and Hot Break sections on a shared line
- Multi-effect evaporation to target Brix
- Steriliser, aseptic tank and bag-in-drum filler
Validation and testing
Validation ran across three stages — water trials to prove flow and temperature control, sterilisation cycles to prove the aseptic envelope, and product runs to prove that Brix, colour and viscosity hold within specification across a full shift.
A new facility does not inherit a track record. Every parameter on this line has been proven here, on this equipment, before we offer a single tonne to a customer.
