Quality Assurance Officer
Hold the quality system that our certification programme and every customer specification depends on.
About the role
You will maintain and evidence the quality system across intake, in-process and finished product, and help carry the facility through its HACCP, ISO 22000, BRCGS and FSSC programme. This is a documentation-heavy role for someone who is precise by instinct.
What you will do
- Run in-process and finished-product checks against specification
- Maintain HACCP documentation, CCP records and corrective actions
- Prepare certificates of analysis and support customer specification requests
- Support internal audits and third-party certification audits
- Investigate non-conformances and track them to closure
What you bring
- Degree in food science, chemistry, microbiology or a related discipline
- 3+ years in quality assurance within food or beverage manufacturing
- Practical knowledge of HACCP and at least one GFSI scheme
- Confident with laboratory method and record keeping
- Strong written English for specifications and audit evidence
Nice to have
- Internal auditor training
- Experience preparing a site for first certification
- Familiarity with aseptic processing
